Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

Sucare Inc. (“Sucare,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over your information.

1. Information we collect

We collect personal information that you provide to us directly, including:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and city (via our contact form);
  • Your name, email, phone number, and delivery address (when you place a product order);
  • Account credentials (email and password) if you register for a Sucare account; and
  • Any additional details you share in messages, order notes, or care discussions.

2. Why we collect it

  • To respond to your service inquiries and arrange care consultations;
  • To process, fulfill, and deliver product orders;
  • To manage customer accounts and provide account-related communications; and
  • To meet our legal, tax, and business record-keeping obligations.

3. Legal basis

We collect, use, and disclose your personal information on the basis of your consent. By submitting a contact form, placing an order, or creating an account, you consent to the uses described in this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice (see Section 7).

4. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted third-party processors who help us operate the service:

  • Resend — transactional email delivery (order confirmations, inquiry responses);
  • Lovable Cloud / Supabase — website hosting, database, and authentication infrastructure; and
  • Any analytics or measurement provider we may add in the future, which would be disclosed here when introduced.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sucare, our clients, or others.

5. Cross-border data storage

Some of the service providers listed above may store or process your personal information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States and other jurisdictions. While the information is held in those locations, it may be accessible to foreign courts, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities under the laws of those jurisdictions.

6. Retention

  • Order records are retained for seven (7) years to meet Canadian tax and business record-keeping requirements.
  • Service inquiries from the contact form are retained for twenty-four (24) months, after which they are deleted.
  • Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to address any disputes or legal obligations.

7. Your rights under PIPEDA

Subject to limited exceptions in the law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request a copy of that information;
  • Have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected; and
  • Request deletion of your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at sucare.help@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days, as required by PIPEDA. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS (TLS) encryption in transit, encryption at rest at the database layer, and role-based access controls so that only authorized personnel can access personal data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to maintain appropriate protections.

9. Health and care-related information

Any health, medical, or care-related information you share with us — whether in an inquiry, an account note, or during a care consultation — is treated as sensitive personal information. We handle it in accordance with applicable Canadian health privacy law, including Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and Saskatchewan’s Health Information Protection Act (HIPA), where those laws apply.

10. Children

Our services are intended for adults arranging care for themselves or family members. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate, by additional notice.
